San Martino - (San Martino di Castrozza)
The area San Martino (1450 m) – Passo Rolle (1980 m) extends in a natural bowl encircled by meadows and mountains. The ancient tradition of the valley must be searched in the past when merchants and travelers crossed it in order to reach Passo Rolle. In the second half of the XIXth century tourists and climbers came here attracted by the famous Pale di San Martino. The Natural Park of Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino exalts still more the beauty of the Primiero. Valleys, imposing walls of white Dolomiti rock, smooth cliffs of dark porphyry, alpine pastures, pools, old forests, paths, form a oasis where flora and fauna are protect in order to keep integral this natural patrimony.
The nature of the Primiero and the lawns of the Val Canali, is interrupted by the hugeness of the Pale di San Martino and by the famous tops of Sass Maor, Velo della Madonna and Cimon della Pala.
Northwards of Saint Martino we find one of the most famous Dolomitic passes, Passo Rolle. Coming down for the Valley of the Cismòn we find Siror, Tonadico that leads to Passo Cereda, Fiera di Primiero with the romantic Val Canali, Transacqua, Mezzano with its wild Val Noana, and, at last, the country of Imer, from where you can reach Val Vanoi.
Comano Terme - (Comano)
Ponte Arche is situated in a strategic position within the area of the Valli Giudicarie (Giudicarie Valleys), as it represents an important linkage centre among Molveno, Banale, Val Rendena, the Garda zone and the chief town, that is Trento.
To scan the horizon, one only needs to reach Mount Casale through the panoramic road: from there, tourists will be able to admire the extent of the Adamello and Brenta mountains and a myriad of enchanting small alpine lakes.
The area is suitable for any kind of hiking. By entering the Brenta group of mountains and climbing up to the “rifugios” at high altitudes (among them we mention Rifugio XII Apostoli at a height of 2,489 m and Rifugio Agostini at a height of 2,410 m), which are also accessible to unskilled climbers, one can enjoy the sight of the magnificent slopes of the Dolomites. Passing from one slope to the other is however advisable only for skilful hikers.

Near the Adamello National Park, the starting point of numerous itineraries on the peaks of Brenta, there is the modern establishment of the Comano Thermal Baths (the birth of which dates back to the period of Ancient Rome). The hot spring attracts thousands of tourists thanks to its regenerative properties.

In close proximity to the thermal baths (6 km north-westwards) there is the small resort of Sténico; the town is dominated by an old castle, the Bishops’ residence, which has recently been restored. Its interior, used as Provincial Art Museum, contains numerous frescoes and decorations from the Renaissance (guided tours possible, closed on Monday). Of particular historical interest are also the remains of some prehistoric pile-dwellings dating back to four thousand years ago, which extend for about four metres on the Fiavé area, a resort that can be reached by going up the Ballino.
Val di Sole - (Val di Sole)
Val di Sole is situated in the north-western end of Trentino, wedged among the mountain groups of Adamello, Presanella, Ortles-Cevedale and of the Maddalene (from the Passo del Tonale to the Lombardia border and the Val di Non); and about one third of its territory belongs to the Adamello Brenta Natural Park and to the Stelvio National Park.

Val di Sole covers the highest peaks of Trentino, starting from the 700 m of the valley bottom, where the river Noce flows, to the 3500 m of the mountains with their perpetual snow. Along the slopes of those mountains there are several lakes - Lago Nero, Lago di Covel, Lago delle Marmotte...- originated by the overhanging glaciers (Presena Glacier, 3000 m).

Val di Sole tourist area included the two lateral valleys of Pejo and Rabbi, well-known for centuries thanks to their thermal springs with waters rich of ferruginous minerals, which make them particularly suitable for all those who suffer hepatic dysfunctions and for other more pathologies. But these valleys represent also a good starting point for the excursions in the Ortles-Cevedale Group for all those who love Mountain bike and trekking.

Folgarida, risen in 1965, and Marilleva offer a wide range of choices in the tourist equipment, especially for the winter season, and tracks and lifts are linked together and to Madonna di Campiglio resort.

Several fortresses, such as Castel Caldes, Rocca di Samoclevo, Castel S. Michele in Ossana, Palazzo Pezzen in Croviana and Palazzo Migazzi in Cuciano, and the sacred buildings, such as the little church of S. Maria Maddalena in Cuciano, the church of the Nativity of Maria di Pellizzano and the churches dedicated to S. valentine and S. Luis, both in Malè, tell the thousand years old story of this corner of Trentino.

In Malè it has been opened, since 1980, the Museo della Civiltà di Solandra, which collects the testimonies of the history of the mountain civilization of the civilization Val di Sole.

Strino Fort, on the road for the Tonale, gives hospitality to a permanent exhibition of the tragic clash between Italians and Austro-Hungarians in the Val di Sole mountains in May, 1915, and called "White War" by historians. Another testimony of the First World War is the "Monumento Ossario dei Caduti della Prima Guerra Mondiale", built in 1924 in the Tonale.
